Winter Access

Winter Driving Directions

During the winter season, Highway 65 is closed by UDOT about one mile south of the Resort, preventing access from I-80 over Big Mountain Pass. During this time the Resort can be accessed through Henefer or Morgan.

Winter Route (from Salt Lake International Airport)

Take I-80 East. After a brief crossover on I-15 South, continue east on I-80. Travel past Park City and Echo Reservoir and take I-84 West, exit 168. Take exit 115 at Henefer and turn left. In Henefer, follow the signs and turn left onto Highway 65 South. After about 8 miles, turn left at the fork in the road. Continue on Highway 65 for about 4.5 miles to East Canyon Resort; the Resort is on the right.

Highway 65 North over Big Mountain is closed from about November 15 through May 15 (dates can vary). The resort remains accessible through Henefer or Morgan during the closure.
